Analyst, Client Services Associate
Isabel Vander Stoep joined Sterling in early 2024 as an Analyst and Client Services Associate. She researches, evaluates and recommends potential investments and grants, ensuring Sterling prioritizes clients’ values.
Isabel has extensive experience in communications and research. Her background includes executive internal communications for a Fortune 200 company. Isabel has consulted on broadcasting for campaigns, trade associations and universities. Her ability to research and deliver answers and solutions for clients rapidly comes from several years in news media as both a reporter and editor. She spent her early career in customer service and education.
Since joining Sterling, she has managed public relations projects for ultra-high net worth client philanthropy, researched potential and existing client assets, and enhanced Sterling’s ability to deliver on concierge requests of any kind. Isabel also manages private foundation grants and programs. Deeply familiar with studying policy, she helps clients and partners maximize the benefits of state-level tax exemptions.
Before recently moving from the Pacific Northwest, Isabel served as a board member for several nonprofits focused on the welfare of rural communities and advancing school-aged children’s access to quality athletics programs. She currently volunteers on the board of an organization advocating for climate resilience projects in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
